Task Force Police have arrested ganja smugglers

Hyderabad, May 31: The Task Force Police have arrested a youngster and seized 4.5kg of ganja from him at Sitarambagh here on Tuesday.

While going to details, The accused youngster Abhishek Singh (21), a student and resident of Sitarambagh in Mangalhat was nabbed in a joint operation with the Mangalhat police.

Another suspect, Gopal Singh, 34, an idol maker and resident of Gangabowli, was absconding. Both Abhishek and Gopal Singh were relatives, police said, adding that it was Gopal Singh who got Abhishek into the marijuana trade with the offer of Rs.300 per day.

"Due to unemployment, Abhishek agreed to work for him. He has been working since a month and delivering the drug to customers at various places in Mangalhat. He also was purchasing the drug from Gopal and selling it at higher prices," police said.
