Driving schools to be setup in ITIs

Hyderabad, MAY 31: A good news for unemployed youth.

Telangana government will soon establish driving schools in the ITI centers.Currently, ITI offers training to youth in various skills but vehicle driving is not included in the list.

The government wants to establish at least 2 centers in each district.The Road Transport Ministry has written to state Technical Education Department to identify ITI s which are suitable for driving schools.

Currently, there is a huge shortage of Heavy vehicle drivers in the state. Officers feel that this move would benefit youth because they will get employment from the training they have received.These driving schools will be under the control of the government.

Finally, the youth are happy because they would get employment.
