Swathi Kolai Vazhaku trailer is out

Hyderabad May 30: The sensational murder case of Swathi, the 24-year-old software engineer in Chennai, has now been made into a feature film. The film's trailer was released on Monday. It depicted the case as seen by a police officer investigating it.

Swathi was murdered at the Nungambakkam railway station in the wee hours on 24th June last year, while she was waiting for a train. Ramkumar, the prime accused in the case, committed suicide in prison in September that year.



Titled 'Swathi Kolai Vazhaku', the film explores the real life incidents surrounding the murder and subsequent investigation in Swathi's murder case. Makers said that they would screen the movie for both the families of Swathi and Ramkumar before releasing it in theaters.
