Telugu People to play key role in US politics

New Delhi, May 30: The Padma Bhushan awardee Acharya Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad urged that TELUGU people should play a major role in the politics in the United States.

He also said that Telugu Students are very knowledgeable in the different sectors like economically, socially, and civic and also in the field of Information technology, medicine, advocacy and business sectors etc.

Yarlagada Lakshmi Prasad received the Tana-kakarla Subbarao life achievement award as part of the closing ceremony of the 21st Conference in St.Louis on Sunday.

AP Minister Kamineni Srinivas, film director K. Raghavendra Rao, MP Muralimohan handed this award to Yarlagadda.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the governments should seek to repay their wealth and timing to the American political system, even though the requests for immigrants are required to pay off their homeland.
It is happy I have received the Award on the Birth Anniversary of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.
