Indian tax laws are complicated

New Delhi, MAY 29: A complex truth has been revealed recently.Deloitte has conducted a survey regarding tax laws in different South Asian countries and it has released a report.

The main aspects of the report are

* Indian tax laws are second most complex in the Asia-Pacific region.

* China has most complex jurisdiction for taxation and most complicated requirements of tax.

* Japan, Australia, Indonesia and South Korea have better tax structure than India in the complexity index.

* Complexity in the countries China and India have increased in the last 3 years.

* The introduction of GST in India will help to reduce the tax complexities

* Many people in India don't pay taxes because of the laws and its jurisdictions.

Finally, the survey said that India has a lot of complex laws which can be easily reduced.
