India wins in warm up match

London MAY 29: A good news from Indian Cricket team.

India has won against the Newzealand in a warm-up match held in Champions Trophy yesterday.

The match summary is as follows
Newzealand - 189 (38.4 overs)
India -129/3 (26 overs).

The match was interrupted due to rain and the team was ahead of the target set according to Duckworth-Lewis method which was 84 for 26 overs.



Team bowlers Mohamed Shami (3/47 in 8 overs) and Bhuvenshwar Kumar (3/28 in 6.4 overs) have restricted the Kiwis to a low score.

Indian Batsmen Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Shikhar Dhawan have finished the match with their elegant batting.

The team with this win is gearing up for the real challenge to defend the trophy which starts from June 1.
