Terrorist killed in encounter

Kashmir MAY 28: An encounter took place yesterday. Indian security forces have killed 10 terrorists in last 24 hours.

One such terrorist was Sabzar Ahmad Bhat who is the brother of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani.

Wani was dead in an encounter that took place last July.

Soon after the news broke out about the death of Bhat people started protesting in the valley. Some civilians started pelting stones at police when they tried to control the protests.



Sources say that a protester was killed and over 60 others were injured as security forces fired pellets in South Kashmir.

The state government has disabled mobile Internet, banned social media sites, and imposed curfew in several parts of the Valley.
The separatists have declared a 2-day bandh.

Finally, the situation is tense in Kashmir because of the encounters that took place in last 2 days.
