Chandrababu says Congress cannot survive in AP

Vizag May 28: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu has been angered on Congress party here on Saturday, During the Mahanadu Event.

He said that The Congress party cannot survive in Andhra Pradesh and there is no chance of supporting the party even in the future.

He also remarked that, Noting that the politics of today were not based on policy but were in accordance with changing conditions, he cited the statement of a Chinese leader who said Don’t look at the cat whether it is black, white or brown. Any cat is all right if it is capable of killing rats’. "That was a new definition to politicians and the TDP is now caging all rats of corruption."

On the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Naidu said he wanted no injustice to be done to both the regions. However, it turned out to be a lopsided affair, he commented.

He was commented on special category status, he explained that it was introduced in the Parliament but without making provision in the Act. But the Centre promised to provide a special package that would be on par with special status, he recalled.

As far as the construction of new capital city was concerned, the Centre had provided assistance to "some extent", he revealed and added that it was his aim to build a great Capital city.

Today Hyderabad had become a knowledge society. If Hyderabad was generating revenue, it was because of the foundation laid by the TDP, he stated.
