Venkaiah Naidu launched scheme in his adopted village

Rajasthan, May 25: Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu has been launched a scheme to make villages in Rajasthan open defecation free. He launched the scheme here on Wednesday.

We already knew that the minister has been adopted a village named as Titarwasa of Jhalawar district, he launched the scheme in his adopted village.

The village has been adopted under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna. He launched the scheme in presence of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. Naidu Further added that "The villages will become clean under the Mukhyamantri Swachh Gram Yojna,"

Asserting that Rajasthan is no more a Bimaru state and has become progressive, he said, "The NDA government has taken a series of measures to promote agriculture and allied sectors in view of the declining contribution of these sectors to the GDP."

He also highlighted the schemes initiated by the government for the welfare of farmers. Raje said under the Swachh Gram Yojna, garbage will be collected door to door in selected Gram panchayats.

The State transport minister Yunus Khan, urban development and housing minister Srichand Kriplani, MP Dushyant Singh and others were present on the occasion.
