Healthy fertile mouse pups in space

Tokyo MAY 24: A great experiment conducted by scientists has shown results. Soon mouse can be produced in space and other planets.

Scientists said that Mouse sperms stored in frozen condition at the International Space Station (ISS)for more than 9 months have produced healthy, fertile mouse pups.

The scientists have revealed that the experimental details.
The details are as follows:

# The Scientist Teruhiko Wakayama, of the University of Yamanashi in Kofu, Japan, has sent freeze- dried sperm from 12 mice to the ISS in 2013.

# The Astronauts of NASA have preserved the samples in a freezer at –95°C, for 288 days and also took a control sample of mouse sperm stored on Earth in same conditions as of the space station.

# The scientists have injected both samples into fresh mouse eggs that they transferred into surrogate mothers.

# The results have shown that Roughly the females gave birth to 73 "space pups" and the pups produced by earth stored samples were also similar in number.

Finally, the scientists said that it is a new milestone in space research and we need to do a lot more research for creating the human population in other planets and space.
