AP Minister Nara Lokesh booked under a case

Amaravati, May 23: A case has been filed on Andhra Pradesh Minister for Panchayat Raj and IT Nara Lokesh for claiming to restore of govt lands grabbing, case filed by the YSR Party leaders here on Tuesday

The YSRC president Gudivada Amarnath along with other leaders of the party lodged the complaint with the CBI office in MVP Colony on Tuesday.

He said that after the former Collector N. Yuvaraj issued a gazette notification that the lands in survey nos 1196, 1197,1027 and 1028 belonged to Revenue department, he was transferred within two months.

Following this, 50 percents went to the court claiming the lands to be theirs. As they were government land, the Sub-Registrar Pothuraju stopped registrations and he was suspended, he recalled.

"Why did the so called heirs of the Daspalla zamindars who claim the lands as theirs, did not object to the construction of the Telugu Desam Party office building in the area? The Government should protect the lands worth Rs.1,015 crore," he said, and opined that a CBI inquiry into it would bring to light all facts.
