Delhi, May 23: A good news for Top management for State Bank of India. The central government may soon induct 2 Managing Directors and 4 more deputy MDS.

Currently, there are 4 MDs and 13 Deputy MDS in the sbi.The central government is planning to increase the top post management posts because of the increase in work pressure after the merger of subsidiary banks in sbi.

The bank has merged SBH, SBM, SBT, SBBJ, SBP and Bharatiya Mahila bank into the parent company from April 1, 2017.

The top management of bank has said that currently, we are facing a huge increase in workload we have requested the government to increase the top posts.

SBI chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya said that currently merger process is going as per schedule and she hoped that government would soon amend State Bank of India Act 1955 so that the number of top managers can be increased.
