MP Paresh Rawal controversial tweets

New Delhi, May 23: Actor-cum-BJP MP Paresh Rawal kicked up a storm by commenting that renowned Writer Arundhati Roy should be tied to an Army Jeep. He made this comment in reference to Jawans tying up a Protester to Army Vehicle in Kashmir last month.

Paresh Rawal tweeted: "Instead of tying stone pelter on the army jeep tie up Arundhati Roy!."

In April this year, Army used a Kashmiri Youth as a human shield by tying him to their jeep to protect themselves from stone pelters. A probe was ordered into the incident involving a Major. Arundhati Roy has been vocal about the volatile situation in Kashmir and role of Indian Army in dealing with the protesters.



While there are people who defended Paresh Rawal, Others found fault with the BJP Lawmaker accusing him of inciting violence. Even Union Minister Smriti Irani made it clear that violent messages by anybody against people of the country will not be supported.
