Why they are coming to Telangana?

Hyderabad May 22: The proposed visits of BJP national president Amit Shah and AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi to the state are gradually rising political temperature in the state.

The reason is nothing but the two national parties — Congress and BJP, which previously joined hands with each other to accord statehood to Telangana, are now competing to derive substantial political benefit by taking on the TRS party.

The political atmosphere in the state is warming in the wake of a 23-month deadline for general elections. BJP national president Amit Shah and National Vice President of Congress Rahul Gandhi are on a ten-day visit to Telangana.

This is the first time Amit Shah's visit to Telangana. He came to the state twice in the past, the tour ended in two days. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi, who is coming to the state several days later, will take part in an open meeting in Sangar Reddy on June 1. TRS hopes that BJP and Congress are targeting their party targets.

The TRS took power in three years after coming to power. The Medak, Warangal Lok Sabha constituencies, Narayankhed and Paaleru Legislative Assembly have also won the highest number of seats in MLC constituencies. However, the MLA elections in Hyderabad, Nalgonda and Mahbubnagar in the local bodies election, the BJP and the Congress have been blown up.



Later, the TRS leadership initiated efforts to strengthen the party politically. Representatives and leaders from other parties joined the TRS. In the recently registered membership, 75 lakh people were enrolled. The party decided to form the constituency committees to strengthen the party.

On the other hand, Congress seniors led by TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy too visited Sangareddy, wherein the party proposed to hold a public meeting on June 1, which will be addressed by Rahul Gandhi.

During his interaction with local Congress leaders, Uttam directed them to ensure that at least one lakh people are mobilized from erstwhile Medak district to Rahul's public meeting.
