JNTU to reduce Engineering seats

Hyderabad, May 21: JNTUH is reducing the seats in the colleges because as many engineering colleges in Telangana state have failed to recruit laboratory equipment and also failed in recruit the educated faculty.

According to the source's information, An estimated 10-15 thousand seats will be reduced. JNTUH has been making stringent rules over the past two years

We already knew that Jawaharlal Nehru Technology of Hyderabad has sent the Notices to the 100 colleges in the state here on Thursday.

Every year the JNTU has rais the certain engineering colleges, in this year they raid in the March and April only. They raided around 220 colleges. The number of colleges enrollment was 353 in 2014-15 and by 2016-17 it was reduced to 219.

In the wake of the JNTU to hold this strictest attitude, some engineering colleges have applied for the cancellation of 85 branches in the 2017-18 academic year.

19 college ownership came to the forefront of claiming that they were not entrants. Engineering seats for the next academic year will be reduced to 15,000. All the seats are expected to reach 90,000 seats.
