JEE Advanced 2017 exam today

New Delhi May 21: JEE Advanced 2017 exam will be conducted on today May 21 at the official website. It is important for the candidates to follow all the important instructions while appearing for the JEE advanced exam. The guidelines must be strictly adhered issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for JEE candidates. Candidates appearing for JEE Advanced 2017 will be required to carry a printed copy of the downloaded admit card and their original photo identity card for the examination. It will be important to note that the candidates having a valid admit card for JEE Advanced exam 2017 will be allowed to write the examination.

The candidates will be given the original admit cards upon identity verification during the examination. The candidate's identity will be verified by invigilators as well as IIT representatives. If the identity of the candidate is in doubt, the candidate may not be allowed to appear in the examination. The authorities at their discretion will be required to provisionally permit the candidate to appear for the examination after completing certain formalities. It is important to note that there will be no extra time will be allowed for completing the examination in lieu of the time taken for completing these formalities.



It is important to note that the impersonation in the examination is a serious offense and will lead to disqualification of the candidate from JEE (Advanced) 2017. Only Black ball point pens, pencils, downloaded admit card will be allowed inside the examination hall. It has been clearly mentioned that no candidates will be allowed to carry any electronic devices (e.g. mobile phones, smart phones, calculators, iPad, tabs, digital watches etc.),abacus, slide rule, log books, study material of any type, geometry box, written or white (blank) paper/piece of paper, wallets, etc. to the examination hall. Candidates should not wear items containing metals such as rings, bracelet, earrings, pendants or cloths with big buttons.To avoid last minute chaos and confusion the aspirants must reach the venue before the scheduled time for the JEE Advanced exam. It is important to note that candidates arriving after the commencement of the examination in each paper (09:00 IST for Paper 1 and 14:00 IST for Paper 2) will not be allowed.
