Venkaiah Naidu opened up about PM meeting with Jagan

Vijayawada, May 21: Central Minister Venkaiah Naidu downplayed the meeting between PM Narendra Modi & YS Jagan Mohan Reddy by questioning what's wrong with it.

"An Opposition Leader could meet either CM or PM to discuss people's issues. Of course, There is no such equation between CM & Opposition Leader in AP. But, That doesn't mean Jagan shouldn't meet PM or PM must deny appointment to him. Those who have political awareness won't differ with my views," he said.

Venkaiah Naidu welcomed the support extended by YSR Congress for BJP's Presidential Candidate. He stressed the need for setting a good precedent by unanimously electing the New President of India.

When quizzed about the pre-poll alliance in 2019 Elections, Venkaiah fuelled speculations that even a tie-up with YCP can't be ruled out by replying, 'It's Too Early To Say Anything About It!'. How would alliance-partner TDP respond to it?

Venkaiah informed Amit Shah's visit to Vijayawada will be used to strengthen the party in AP. He says Saffron Party has already focussed on increasing its cadre in South India.
