Harish Rao about Vidya Sagar Rao

Hyderabad, May 20: Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has said that very soon the State Cabinet will approve naming a major irrigation project being taken up in Telangana after R Vidyasagar Rao, who passed away recently. He made the above statement here on Friday.

Irrigation Minister was participating in a three-day theater festival, organized by Telangana State Theatre Research Centre (TSTRC) and Department of Languages and Culture, at Ravindra Bharathi.

"Everybody knew about him as a great engineer and an authority in water resources. He did not talk much about his passion for writing. He was instrumental in reducing complicated issues related to sharing of water resources to a level that can be understood by the common man," Harish Rao said, after releasing the compilation.
