New Delhi, May 19: With the country's petrol pumps, people will soon be able to purchase LED bulbs, tube lights and ceiling fans with a much higher energy at reasonable cost.

According to sources, for this, major government oil companies of the country were going to sign EEL on an MU on Thursday. But due to the death of Union Minister Anil Madhav Dave, the agreement could not be signed at the moment. But soon the sign of this signature is showing.

Once the deal is confirmed, the state-owned oil companies will get the Public Sector Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) rights for the sale of these components of Hindustan Petroleum, Indian Oil, and Bharat Petroleum. After which LED bulbs, tubelite and ceiling fans on petrol pumps will be sold to customers at a cheaper price.

After the announcement of the new date for the signing of the MU, it will take at least one month for consumers to make these devices available for sale on petrol pumps. At present, it is not certain that these three devices will be sold at petrol pumps across the country. Let us tell you that all three marketing companies have 53 thousand petrol pumps across the country.

Significantly, EESL is engaged in furthering the efficient lighting program launched by the government. Besides distributing LED bulbs and lights in the country through online marketing and retail media, apart from various BILG distribution companies. Apart from this, EESL has recently decided to invest 10 million pounds through its joint venture in England.
