Union Minister MJ Akbar about Anil Madhav Dave

New Delhi May 18: Union Minister of State for External Affairs M.J. Akbar has condoled the death of Union Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave here on Thursday.Dave died in New Delhi on Thursday morning following cardiac arrest.

While coming to matter he said that he had dedicated his life to the conservation of the Narmada river with "exemplary honesty."

He further said that "It is really sad and shocking. He was a great, great environmentalist,"He also added that "He had given his life for the Narmada. Not only he knew the subject but he devoted his life to the subject with exemplary honesty. honesty just not in financial sense but also honesty of purpose."
