China offers help to Srilanka

BEIJING MAY 18: A good news for Srilanka.
China has shown interest to give the country $ 24 billion as a loan.

Currently, the country owes a debt of $ 8 billion debt to China.

China has said that we would give additional loans to countries who are participating in one belt one road project.
Srilanka president has thanked the XI Jinping president of china for offering such huge help.

Sources say that this move is aimed at dragon country to reduce the effect of Indias diplomatic pressure on Srilanka.

Prime Minister Modi had visited Sri Lanka last week and had persuaded the country not to participate in OBOR.

He used his skills and praised the country saying that Buddhism has flourished in both countries and he also invoked famous Tamil cricketer Muttiah Muralidharan name while addressing the gathering.

PMs diplomatic efforts have shown some effect partially and the neighboring country has expressed some concerns in the meeting held at Shanghai on belt and road forum.

Let's hope that Indias effort frutify in future.
