DGP warns over speeding bikers

Hyderabad May 18: Here is the warning call from Director General of Police Anurag Sharma who is speeding motorbikes, he said that it would be dealt with stringent action according to law.

While going to matter, He was speaking at an event held at Bongulur Toll Gate of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Adibhatla, organised by Rachakonda police officials.

He further added that Outer ring road is not a speed riding track. It is a facility for public, but there has been rise in accidents on the ORR, he said adding that some youngsters having imported vehicles were using ORR for speed driving.

He also said that many people were using ORR in drunken condition leading to increasing in accidents. He appreciated Rachakonda and Cyberabad police for coming forward with ideas to prevent accidents on the ORR.

The DGP gave away speed laser guns and breathe analysers for the police teams who patrol ORR.

The Hyderabad Metro Development Authority will provide a required number of speed laser guns and breathe analysers to Rachakonda, Cyberabad and Patancheru police, he said.
