Harikrishna  registers his first win in Chess tournament

Mosco, MAY 17: Indian chess Grand Master Harikrishna has won in a match of the Moscow FIDE Grand Prix tournament.

He defeated a Britain player GM Michael Adams on Tuesday in the fifth round.

The Hyderabadi player played with white pieces and he took the aggressive route right from the start of the match and the opponent had tried to draw the match but he couldn't and he lost.

Indian chess players said that "he had given me an opportunity by moving wrong steps from there on I didn't look back and played very strategically".

The player is placed at 13 with a total of 2.5 points.
Grand Master has won one match, drawn three matches and lost a match till now in five games held in the tournament.

Finally, the player has registered his first win.
