Sanjay Dutt to setup drug de-addiction centers

Mumbai, May 17: Senior Bollywood hero Sanjay Dutt, who was enrolled in a drug rehabilitation center in his late twenties, has now revealed his plans of setting up drug de-addiction centers across India.

Dutt said that he is in talks with the government and that he will make an official announcement once he gets the necessary approvals. The de-addiction centers will offer effective treatment and counseling to the addicts at an affordable cost, added Dutt, who will next be seen in a new Hindi film titled 'Bhoomi'.

The 'Munnabhai' actor has never shied away from talking about his drug addiction in younger days and the rehab program he underwent in the US. The main reason behind Dutt deciding to set up drug de-addiction centers is to provide affordable treatment to everyone.

"Since my parents were rich, I could afford the treatment but it's not affordable for everyone in the country," he added talking about his noble initiative.
