TTD attacked by WannaCry Ransomware Virus

Tirupati, May 17: As we know that, WannaCry ransomware virus has infected most of the countries across the world.Now, It has attacked the India's Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD) in Tirupati of Andhra Pradesh state here on Wednesday.

The officials have identified nearly 30 systems are infected by the ransomware virus that is being operated for the administrative purpose of the attack.

As a precautionary measure, the officials have stopped utilizing the services of the other systems in the administration.



Speaking on the same, TTD new executive officer Anil Kumar Singhal on Wednesday informed that few systems were impacted but added that the services of the devotees won't have any interruption.

Presently, the TTD Information Technology (IT) wing is working on the situation with the Tata Consultancy Services.
