Pakistan violates Cease Fire Agreement

Jammu, MAY 17: Pakistan had once again violated ceasefire agreement.

Sources say that the enemy army has started firing at LOC border on Tuesday.

The police have evacuated around 1,700 people from the surrounding areas of the border in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
They have said that the firing has affected over 10,000 people of the state.

Defense sources say that "Pakistan army has started indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatic weapons and 82 mm and 120 mm mortars across the Line of Control".



Indian army had issued a statement that "our soldiers are retaliating strongly and effectively and firing is presently on".

Finally, police have issued instructions for civilians that please evacuate the surrounding areas and inform us if there is any damage.

They have also said that till now all civilians are safe. and we will make sure that all people present in the are are safe.
