KalamSat :Worlds lightest satellite developed by Indian

New Delhi, MAY 16: A teen has made India proud.Rifath Sharook a 12 Th grade student from Tamilnadu has built world's lightest satellite.

The satellite is named KalamSat, honorable remembrance of former Indian President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

This satellite will be launched by NASA next month.The satellite weighs 0.1kg.

Sources say that he has developed the satellite as a part of the contest which was conducted by NASA.



The 18-year-old boy said that he made the satellite using reinforced carbon-fiber polymer material.

He also said that this carbon material is lighter than
a smartphone.

The boy said that this satellite will help in space missions of the American agency in future.

Let's hope that satellite will be launched successfully.
