UPA government responsible for Air India losses :CMD

NewDelhi MaY 16: Air India CMD has taken Social Media route to discuss the crisis faced bylines.

Mr. Ashwini Lohani has criticized the previous UPA government for the current problems faced by AIR India.

he posted a speech on facebook stating that currently the total debt stands at Rs 46,000 crore and the debt accumulated is the main problem of the Industry.

He also recalled that the debt has mounted because of the merger of Indian Airlines with Air India and this decision was taken during UPA regime.He also said that some others decisions taken by Manmohan Singh government have gone wrong.

Finally, he concluded that we cannot pay the debt in a few months and it may take many years.

Let's hope that the Airlines settles the debt quickly so that it can be privatized.
