Bengaluru, May 16: Police seized 3.25 crore in notes of Rs 1000 and Rs 500.
The police have also seized about Rs 3.25 crore in notes of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 denomination.
The police have caught the gang near Dodda Ganapathi Temple in Basavangudi after the police were tipped off by a source.
The accused were identified as Srinivas 43, Mahesh 32, P Karunakaran 48, Abdul Mujib 40, Neelakanta 32, HG Jambanagowda 62, Narayana 48, Udaya Kumar 34, Karthik, 32 and P Rudrakumar, 42.
Meanwhile, The Deputy Commissioner of Police (south) SD Sharanappa said that "The accused are working in various sectors, such as real estate, business etc. We are verifying their backgrounds and will be issuing a detailed inquiry."
