AP CM to hike salaries of Contract employees

Amaravati, May 16: The Andhra Pradesh state Cabinet meeting has decided to hike the salaries up to 50% means Rs.12000 for contract based employees, who were working in AP Govt.

The decision was announced by the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at Secretariat in Velagapudi on Monday, who chaired a Cabinet Meeting where he has given his nod to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill and Sports Policy 2017-22.

In the meeting, the cabinet approved 50 percent hike in the salaries of the contract employees. As per the new PRC, the minimum salary for employees will be Rs 12,000 that in turn will burden Rs 200 crore on the govt.



The cabinet believes that the sporting system will contribute to the development of sports culture in the state, where everyone can participate in sports. The sports policy goal is to provide the necessary resources for the accomplishment of skills in sports and pleasure in sports.
