IPL 10 : RPS beat KXIP to enter playoff

Pune MAY 14: The four teams to enter the playoffs in IPL 10 season have been finalized with just one match left.

According to the latest update, the Rising Pune Supergiants have secured a berth in Playoff by winning in a crucial match against Punjab at a match held in Pune today.

The summary of the match is

KXIP: 73 all out (15.5 ov).
RPS: 78/1 (12 ov)

Earlier with the super spells of Jadhav Unadkat and S Thakur Pune have made their win easier by restricting opponent to a low score of 73.

The Pune batsmen Rahane made sure that they enter the playoffs by staying until the end.

With this win, Pune has secured 2nd place in the points table.



The teams qualified for playoffs are

MI: 20 points
RPS: 18 points
SRH: 17 points
KKR: 16 points

The playoffs will be starting from next week and the schedule is as follows

Qualifier 1: MI vs RPS- 16 May
Eliminator: SRH vs KKR 17 MAY

Qualifier 2: --- 19 MAY

Final: 21 MAY (Sunday)
