India secures gold medal in Asian championship

Delhi MAY 14: A good news from Indian wrestlers. Indian wrestler Bajrang Puniya has secured a gold medal in Asia wrestling championship. He secured the medal in 65 kg free lifting category.

Puniya defeated south Korea's Siyang chul Lee by scoring 6-2 in the final match held on Saturday. Indian women team has finished second in the championship.



Indian women wrestler Sarita has secured the silver medal.she secured the medal in 58 kg category. She has lost to isle Tinbekovo of Khakazistan by scoring 0-6.

Finally, India has bagged a gold medal in the championship.
