Jayaprada is back

Kerala, May 13: Senior heroine Jayaprada has not appeared on screen for 6 years as she was busy with her political career and she last appeared in films such as 'Dasavatharam' and 'Mithrudu' in the past decade.

After six long years, Jayaprada signed a Malayalam movie. She is in Kerala for the shoot of Mollywood flick 'Kinnaru' (Well). MA Nishad who shot to fame with his off-beat films is wielding the megaphone.



When asked about her feeling to make a comeback after a very long gap, The Actress-turned-Politician said: 'It's really wonderful to be back. The subject is based on drought situation and farmers issues'.

The last time Jayaprada did a Malayalam flick was in 2011. She acted in 'Pranayam' directed by Blessy. The film also stars Mohan Lal and Anupam Kher.
