Telangana to host Videsh Sampark

Hyderabad, May 13: Telangana will host the first outreach program of the Ministry of External Affairs Videsh Sampark' on May 13, 2017.
The Programme to engage the State governments in creating awareness about various programmes of the Ministry.
The conference which will be inaugurated by the Minister of State for External Affairs, Gen. V.K. Singh, said Regional Passport Officer E. Vishnuvardhan Reddy.
Telangana IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao, Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy along with senior officials from various departments will participate.
He also said that SPs from 12 districts from which a large number of migrant workers go for overseas employment will also participate.
Mr Reddy said the conference will create awareness on the schemes and initiatives launched by the Ministry
with regard to consular and passport services,
engagement with overseas Indians; and
welfare and protection of overseas Indians.
The conference will feature interactive sessions on specific thematic priorities. It is also said that they will launch Pravasi Kaushal Vikas Yojana in Hyderabad
The conference will be inaugurated by Dr V.K Singh(Minister of Development of North Eastern Region of India) and Mohammad Ali (Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana.)
