Laxman honoured Life Time membership of MCC

London, MAY 12: Former Indian batsman V.V.S. Laxman has received life member of Marylebone Cricket Club. This good news was announced by MCC on Thursday.

Laxman has joined the list of his India top-order team-mates such as Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly who are life members of MCC.

We know that Vangipurappu Venkata Sai Laxman played 134 Tests, 86 one-day internationals and 25 Twenty20 internationals for India during his career.

We also know that he scored an unbeaten 281 runs against Australia in Eden Garden in Kolkata test in 2001. Laxman said that "it is an honour for me to be recognised as MCC member".

Finally, the other teammates of India have expressed their congratulatory messages via twitter.
