Woman RBI officer committed suicide

Hyderabad, May 12: Here a lady officer was allegedly committed suicide by hanged herself at her residence, who was Grade-A officer working in the Reserve Bank of India here on Thursday night due to marital conflicts with her husband, police said.

In-depth into the matter, the deceased was Ms. Sweta Jain(32), a native of Kolkata, married to Nitin Jain(32), who work as assistant manager at National Bank For Agriculture & Rural Development two years ago. The couple could not conceive a baby, due to which there used to be domestic differences.

"The couple shifted to the Nabard staff quarters in Ameerpet two months ago. On Thursday night at about 8.30 pm, Sweta hanged herself in her room. There was no suicide note found and her husband Nitin was present at home during the incident,” said SR Nagar inspector G. Ajay Kumar.

Based on a complaint received from the husband, SR Nagar police have booked a case under Section 174 (suspicious death) of the Criminal Procedure Cide and started an investigation.
