Vijay Devarakonda to romance Samantha

Hyderabad, May 12: Young hero Vijay Devarakonda came to limelight with 'Pelli Choopulu' movie and it got a national award. Now he is gearing up to play the love interest of top actress Samantha in 'Mahanati', a biopic on yesteryear actress Savitri.

Even though Keerthy Suresh is playing the titular role, Samantha will be seen in a crucial role in the film. Now, Vijay has been roped in to play the romantic interest of Samantha. Director Nag Ashwin has reportedly taken enough cinematic liberties to fit a romantic sub track of Sam and Vijay.

Malayalam actor Dulquer Salman is already on board to play a key role in 'Mahanati'. The movie's pre-production is currently in progress. It will be made as a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil.
