Link PAN with Aadhar using Web Portal

Delhi MAY 12: The Income Tax Department has launched a web page to link Citizens PAN card with Aadhar. We know that Central government has made Aadhar compulsory for filing IT returns.

So, in order to make IT return filing easy the government has launched the portal.

Steps one should follow to link PAN with Aadhar

* Go to https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in homepage.

* Enter your PAN card, Aadhar Card details in the form.

* Please the enter the name which is present in Aadhar Card.



* Verify your details such as date of birth.

* Confirm your linkage by clicking confirm button.

The IT department said that there is no need to register separately in IT home page. The facility can be used all people who have Aadhar and PAN card.

The department said that one must make sure that name and surname must be matched in both cards otherwise one can use one-time password OTP which will be sent to mobile to edit the changes required.
