NEW DELHI, MAY 12: We all know, Margarine is an imitation butter spread used for spreading, baking, and cooking. A Chef from Mumbai achieved Guinness World Records By carving a Sculpture with Margarine.

Coming to Details, A Chef named Devwrat Anand Jategaonkar is known for creating extraordinary food sculptures. His is working on India’s popular television cooking show 'Mejwani Paripoorna Kitchen.'

However, he decided to utilise his noteworthy abilities to endeavour an official Guinness World Records title for the Largest margarine mould. He said 'I love new challenges and I wanted to showcase Indian art through my work.'

Devwrat embarked on manufacturing a copy of the 'Trimurti of Elephant' – it is a well-known statue which is situated on 'Elephanta Island in Mumbai Harbor' that speaks to a group of three of the Hindu divine beings 'Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.'

His endeavour was four years in arranging and the model took ten entire days to fabricate it.



Margarine is not a simple medium to work with and the Guinness World Records rules for this challenge that the sculpture must not have any inner or outer supporting structure.

At one point the sculpture, Trimurti began to crack and almost collapsed, but luckily the expert food sculptor managed to patch it up and achieve the world record, he posted on his website. After finishing the enormous margarine sculpture, it weighed a staggering 1506.800 kg (3321.925 lbs).

The Artwork measured 8 feet 2 inch long, 3 feet 8 inch wide and 6 feet 1 inch tall.

Later, it was put on display in an air conditioned room at the 'Santacruz Airport’s Domestic Terminal', where it became a temporary tourist attraction for visitors.
