Mumbai MAY 12: Punjab has won a match against Mumbai in the high scoring match held in Mumbai on Thursday.
KXIP won the match by 7 runs.
The match summary is as follows:
KXIP:230-3 (20 overs).
MI: 223-6 (20 overs).
The match became interesting because both teams put up all their best efforts till the last ball. However, Punjab has won the match with its brilliant bowling in death overs.
Earlier KINgs XI bat first and put up a total of 230. Maxwell and Saha's brilliant knock helped kings to put the highest total in this season. While chasing 231 Mumbai has started the innings well but couldn't sustain the momentum till the end.
Although the knocks of Pandya, Pollard, Rohit Sharma kept the chase on but they fumbled in last overs with the great spells of Mohit Sharma and Sandeep Sharma in death overs. Finally, KXIP believes that they a chance to enter playoffs of IPL 10.
