Rajnath Singh plans new straegy to Counter Maoists

NEW DELHI MAY 09: Central Government declared war on Naxals. A Meeting has held with the Chief ministers and higher Officials of Naxals affected States here on Monday.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh took this place and he started a new strategy to encounter Naxalism in the country.

Nearly 12,000 people have been killed in the last two decades, by Naxals out of them 9,300 were innocent civilians and the other 2,700 were jawans of the security forces, Singh said.

He also said that 'we have to damage the Naxals Financial resources, when they have those resources in a plenty way then only they will buy their weapons, so we need to Spoil their Resources'.

Spelling out a strategy for districts hit by Naxalism, Home minister said, 'For this, short term, medium term, and long-term policies need to be formulated at different levels and it lies in the "SAMADHAN" strategy.



Each letter of SAMADHAN includes,

S-Smart leadership,
A-Aggressive strategy,
M-Motivation and training,
A-Actionable intelligence,
D-Dashboard-based Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Result Areas (KRA),
H-Harnessing technology,
A-Action plan for each theater and
N-No access to financing'.

From Telangana State DGP Anurag Sharma Participated in this meeting and said, 'There is Naxals problems in Warangal, Khammam and Karimnagar District's', and asked the Central Government to provide more forces.
