Code language - a code of death

Hyderabad, MAY 09: Consulting a doctor will be a part of each and every human being. On behalf our illness, we will be visiting the doctors to make sure about our health.

Meeting the doctor, following the prescription blindly as instructed by the medical ones. This is what happens in the society.

But, never we tried to read the prescription and make clear of it.

Have you ever tried to understand the code language?

The immediate answer we say is NO - Because it is written in such a way that no one can understand it.

So, in order to solve the above problem, the Medical Council of India on the request of PM Modi issued a notification.

The notification clearly mentions that

# All doctors must write prescription legitimately and in a way which will be understood by patient and pharmacist.

# Doctors should prescribe only generic medicine which is cheaper and will be available in all shops.

Though the instructions are very clear, the doctors are playing with patients life

* They are still writing in cursive which is not understood by many patients

* The doctors under the lobby of Pharmacy companies are still prescribing branded medicines which are costly.

Till now, many patients have filed complaints against doctors for canceling their registration but the MCI has not acted upon the complaints.

Finally, let's hope for the doctors to turn sensitive regarding the patients and follow the instructions of the medical council so, that the patients' lives will be out of danger.
