Raghavendra Rao is a really a great person

Hyderabad May 08: All the directors take the K.Raghavendra Rao as inspiration even call him as a 'Dasarkendrudu' (King of Directors). He understands about his craft the best and treats everyone the same among his cast and crew. He offers them the best roles and presents them even better. They show their affection by praising him but he says, "It is all part of the mutual respect that a director and actor should build over the time. And if you want respect, you should learn to give it first!"

He is known for pampering his actors and recently, great actor Kota Srinivasa Rao shared a beautiful example. "One day we were shooting for a big budget movie in the direction of Raghavendra Rao. As one artist could not honor the given dates, he needed someone to replace the person and finish off the shoot. Otherwise many actors call sheets will be a waste for just one particular scene. So he immediately rang up Ali, the comedian and asked about his whereabouts.

"Ali replied that he got married morning and busy with other traditional customs with his family and friends. He asked him to fly with his wife to Hyderabad and participate in the shoot. Ali could not say no to the man and he board ee the plane with his wife. Raghavendra Rao finished off the shoot as quickly as possible upon his arrival and later arranged at a famous 5-Star hotel a honeymoon suite for the couple for the night. He even decorated the room according to his taste and by the time, Ali is not so popular too. We can say this as the best example for how Raghavendra Rao treats his artists," exclaimed Kota Srinivasa Rao. He shared this memory in a chat show and thanked the legendary director for giving him some memorable roles.
