Madrid May 08: British tennis player has bagged the world No 1 rank in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) world Singles rankings
The results were released on Monday. Serbian Novak Djokovic came second, then after Swiss Stan Wawrinka and compatriot Roger Federer, respectively, according to the reports.
Meanwhile, Spaniard Rafael Nadal remained in fifth place, while Croatian Marin Cilic jumped to seventh after winning the Istanbul Open final on Sunday.Japanese Kei Nishikori fell to the eighth spot.
