FICCI award for Cyber Forensic Lab

Hyderabad May 08: Telangana State police have won Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Smart Policing Award 2017 for the cyber forensic lab in the category of cybercrime and policing initiatives.

Out of 133 entries from various State police forces and Central Armed Police forces.

These awards are going to be Presented in New Delhi which on May 24 and 25 at the FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers Of Commerce and India) on the ninth edition of the annual conference.

M Mahender Reddy, City Police Commissioner will be awarded special jury award, Anurag Sharma Director-General of Police (DGP) will receive the award in the category of smart passport verification process, KCS Raghu Vir, Cybercrimes Assistant Commissioner of Police Hyderabad will receive for the cyber forensics lab initiative.

Special jury award for utilizing Fingerprint Identification and Network System (FINS) will be received by J Parimala Hana Nutan Superintendent of Police, Suryapet.

The DGP Anurag Sharma congratulated the police officers and personnel for their achievement.
