New Delhi May 08: Indian Star Shooter Heena Sidhu claimed bronze in the women's 10m air pistol.
India ended the Grand Prix of Liberation shooting championships by bagging seven medals in Plzen, Czech Republic,
While going to matter, The shooter Heena shot 218.8m in the eight-woman final of the championship to finish third.
Another player Greece’s Anna Korakaki has won a gold medal in the 25m pistol at the Rio Olympics has won the gold medal by shooting 246.3 m and Germany’s 21-year old Michelle Skeries got silver medal(237.8).
However, Shri Nivetha Paramanantham finished fourth at 198.7. India returned from the championship with a haul of one gold, two silver, and four bronze medals.
Nivetha qualified for the finals in the third position ahead of Heena.
India had earlier swept the 25m standard pistol event podium with Neeraj Kumar winning gold, Harpreet Singh taking silver and Deepak Sharma bagging the bronze.
