India opposes Chinas One Belt One Road proposal

Yokohama MAY 07: We know that China is planning to build One belt One Road proposal(OBOR) as a part of China-Pakistan Economic corridor.

Although the proposal will come up for discussion next week in China
India has expressed its objections strongly.

Speaking a conference held by Asian Development Banks 50th anniversary Indian Defense minister Arun Jaitley said that though India supports the idea of regional connectivity we have some serious reservations about it (OBOR), because of political and sovereign issues.

We know that India had opposed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor because it passes through the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir region that India claims its own.

The Pakistan Minister also present in the same venue said that "we are happy that china has brought this proposal to build such road and it improves Pakistan revenue and connectivity to other countries"

Although the Ministers of both countries shared the dais but they had not even given shake hands.
