Hyderabad Metro Rail to be delayed?

Hyderabad MAY 7: The Hyderabad people's dream project metro rail is likely to be postponed.

A sad news for passengers because they hoped that at least one part of the metro project will start to operate from June 2.

Officials at a press conference said that it is the decision of the government to decide the opening date.

Sources say that CM KCR is of the view that whole corridor should be opened to the public at the single time and not streches.

Meanwhile, another news is that the project got an extension of 2 more years to complete that is by July 2019.



The total estimated cost of the project would go up to 20000 crores.

The main reason for the delay was from both government side and also LT company.

Finally, the completed metro strech between Miyapur-SR Nagar may not operate from June 2, 2017.
