St. Louis, May 06: The St. Louis Court has ordered a compensation of approximately Rs.700 crores ($ 110.5 million) to a Virginia woman, who allegedly infected with ovarian cancer due to the use of Johnson and Johnson Baby Powder.

While coming to details, The Virginia woman Lois Slemp, 62, is undergoing chemotherapy for ovarian cancer that was diagnosed in 2012.

Slemp, whose cancer has since spread to her liver, also claims Johnson & Johnson talcum powder was contaminated with asbestos, a rare allegation in these cases.

The court has issued an order on the complaint filed by Lois Slemp, who was suffering from Ovarian cancer was hit in 2012.the disease also spreads to her liver.

She said that,She was using Johnson and Johnson talcum powdersince from 40 years.

The courts have received Such complaints from 2,000 women across the country.

In the past, St. Louis's court was judged three times over the Johnston and Johnson company.

Johnson and Johnson's company has announced that they will appeal the dispute while expressing regret over the deterioration of the disease and also paying $ 197 million (about Rs 1,260 crore) on similar complaints.
