ACB raids on corrupted officials in AP

Amaravati, May 05: The ACB officials have continued the raids on the corrupt officials across Andhra Pradesh, who were having illegal assets here on Thursday.

In the fresh raids, ACB carried out searches on Thursday at the houses of CNV Hyma Rao, former Regional Transport officer, Srikakulam, and is know posted at the RTO HQ, AP who is on leave. The ACB unearthed properties worth crores.

Simultaneous searches started at six places at Eluru, Rajahmundry and Kadapa including the accused officer's main house at Eluru. The searches conducted so far unearthed 11 house plots at Rajahmundry and Nalgonda in the names of accused officer and his wife and two daughters.



The ACB sleuths also unearthed a residential house at Rajahmundry in the name of accused officer's wife. Agricultural lands about 10 acres at Koppaka village Eluru rural on the names of accused officer and his wife.

Two more flats including one at Vijayawada and another at Visakhapatnam held in his daughters' names.

About 500 grams of gold, 5 kgs silver Rs 2.8 lakh cash apart from Elantra car worth about Rs 13 lakh were also found at his residence,informed the ACB officials. The ACB officials are yet to open three more lockers situated at Rajahmundry.
